The Center on Conscience & War provides counsel to members of the military through its work on the GI Rights Hotline. Our toll-free number is 1-800-379-2679. It is a free, confidential 800 number staffed by trained counselors. Among the counselors on staff at CCW are Bill Galvin and J.E. McNeil.
Our office is open from 9am - 6pm (EST), Monday through Friday. We check the answering machine daily and promptly respond to emails. Here are some topics and concerns that we frequently address in our day-to-day counseling:
While many of the calls we get pretain to these topics, we field everything from specific to general questions regarding the rights of servicemembers, regardless of branch. Are you considering enlisting in the Armed Forces,
Navy, Marines, or Air Force? Are you in the Delayed Enlistment/Entry Program
(DEP) and having second thoughts? Off-site Resources: Appeal for Redress |
